WE VALUE FAMILY  We believe that the family has the primary responsibility for the spiritual formation of the child. We see ourselves, as a ministry, in a support role - partnering with and helping parents as they encourage their kids to become fully devoted Christ-followers

WE VALUE CROSSROADS & ITS MISSION
We believe that our ministry exists in the context of Crossroads Community Church. We fully support the mission, vision and values of Crossroads and deliberately align our mission, vision, values and processes accordingly. We actively look for ways that we can support the mission and vision of the church at large.

WE VALUE COMMUNITY
We believe that God intends for us to be in healthy relationships with one another where we can experience growth at the intersection of truth and love. Our "programs" are community-based (large group-small group format, led by "shepherds" and "care group leaders").

WE VALUE OUR TEAM MEMBERS
We believe that we are called to walk beside each other - encouraging one another to grow as Christ-followers (worshiping, growing, serving), to grow as leaders and to grow in ability to make an impact on the children and parents God entrusts to us. We actively shepherd, train and coach our team members.

WE VALUE THE CHILDREN & PARENTS GOD ENTRUSTS TO US
We diligently look for better ways to effectively and creatively communicate God's truth. We work to assure that to the best of our ability, our programs are safe - physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Confident Kids is a unique support group program designed to help children and their parents cope with the stressful circumstances of their lives.  Each session teaches a different life skill over an 8 week period.  The weekly meetings are on Tuesday nights at our Lakeside location at 6:00 pm.  Each evening begins with a family style dinner.  We then break into small groups (preschool, elementary, middle/high school, and parents) for the  weekly topic.  Childcare is provided for children ages 3 and under.

The theme for this next session is "Living in My Family" - helping family members learn to work together to make home the best possible place for everyone.

Register for our next session which is scheduled to begin on January 19, 2010! Email mykids@crossroads.cc to participate.

Contact Deb G. at 817-7467 or office@crossroads.cc if you have questions or would like more information.
